Living Roofs, affectionally nicknamed 'Bee Bus Stops', have been specially designed in partnership with expert ecologists to support native biodiversity, help create healthier local communities and bring greenery back to urban areas.

They are made up of a carefully curated seed mix to maximise biodiversity impact with a deep soil bed to enable more flowering species and greater rainfall retention.

As part of a major programme of development, Clear Channel have been removing and upgrading existing phone boxes in the Republic of Ireland and replacing them with modern, multifunctional street kiosks.

The core role of the kiosks is to provide a public payphone service and to encourage greater use of the kiosks they also contain a Public Information touch screen which has links to various county council information sites, crisis agency information with emergency numbers and helplines, tourism information, as well as GPS wayfinding capabilities with downloadable directions.
 Public Information Kiosk Features
Clear Channel is also providing free advertising space to local support agencies that provide support to people in times of need and to make visible their support information that is accessible through the information screen.

Need Help Functionality

As well as providing free advertising space to our local support agencies, Clear Channel have also facilitated for a 'Need Help' function through the kiosk information screen.

Accessible from the main menu screen, this options provides the public with immediate access to important information from our various charity partners, direct links to their websites via QR codes as well as giving users the ability to free-call their crisis support helplines directly from the phone kiosk, which is particularly helpful for those who wish to avoid using their personal phones for safety or privacy reasons.
